Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of restaurant.luperiq.com and the LuperIQ restaurant platform (the "Service"), operated by LuperIQ ("we," "us"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or purchasing a license or subscription, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
The Service provides website hosting, business-management tools, online ordering and booking, scheduling, inventory and customer records for small businesses. Features vary by plan.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. You must be authorized to act for the business you register.
3. Trials, subscriptions, and lifetime licenses
- Trials are free for the stated period and may be deactivated by either party at any time. Trial sites are not indexed by search engines until activated.
- Subscriptions bill on a recurring basis at the flat rate shown at checkout, until cancelled. You can cancel any time; service continues to the end of the paid period. We take no commission on your sales.
- Lifetime licenses are a one-time payment granting ongoing access to the licensed features for the life of the Service, and are yours to keep, sell, or transfer. Promotional pricing (for example, launch specials) applies only at the time of purchase.
4. Money-back guarantee
For lifetime purchases: if we do not have your site live within 4 business days of your purchase and your cooperation in setup, you may request a full refund. Other refunds are handled case-by-case — email us and we will be reasonable.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Prices are shown before you confirm payment; applicable taxes may be added where required.
6. Your content and data
You own the content you add to your site and your business records. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and display them as part of operating the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload and for the accuracy of information you publish to your customers.
7. Orders and bookings you take
Orders, reservations and bookings taken through your site are contracts between you and your customer. Payments run through your own connected Stripe account; we are not a party to the transaction, do not hold your customers’ funds, and take no commission. Your cancellation, deposit, refund and service terms are yours to set and yours to honor.
8. Tax, permits and local rules — you are the taxpayer
Tax rates, exemption rules, permit numbers and licence details in the Service are entered and maintained by you, and any rate we seed is a starting point only. Calculating a tax line is not filing or remitting one. You remain responsible for registering with each jurisdiction, for filing and remitting on time, and for meeting every permit, inspection, insurance and licensing requirement that applies to your business. We make no warranty that a seeded rate or rule is current or complete, and nothing in the Service is legal or tax advice.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, attempt to breach security, or misrepresent your licensing, permits or certifications. We may suspend accounts that do.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
